After nearly 7 amazing years of community storytelling, Co-producers & co-hosts Nina Rolle & Johanna Walker are closing the doors of Truth Be Told.

From the bottom of our hearts we’d like to thank you for bringing your stories, your hearts, your friends, your laughs and your support to the slam. We truly couldn’t have done it without you.

We opened the door, but your stories made the show. For that, we are grateful.

We thank Shine Restaurant & Gathering Place, The Dairy Arts Center, Decadent Saints Brewery, Cafe Aion, Boulder Shambhala Center, and the Boulder & Denver Public Libraries for hosting our slams over the last 7 years.

We thank the Avon Storytelling Festival & Jaipur Literature Festival for partnering with us.

We’re putting Truth Be Told to rest but both Nina & Johanna will be off doing other wonderful things.

What’s next? 

Johanna is carrying the torch forward and will be co-producing Boulder’s Story Slam in collaboration with The Dairy Arts Center. We’ll kick off this new chapter of Boulder’s story slam with a slam on September 22. Mark your calendars now!

Nina will be continuing her love affair with all things story…

Nina has a few exciting LOCAL storytelling collaborations up her sleeve and will be taking to the road with her new story slam project: More To The Story. She is finalizing 2020 story slam dates in Atlanta, San Diego, Los Angeles, and Brussels!!!
